Acupuncture
Would you like to live healthily?
Would you like to achieve the optimal balance between your body, mind, and spirit? Do you want to increase your longevity, energy, and mental vitality?
A-One Health Center can help you get the most out of your life using acupuncture, herbs, and nutritional recommendations.
Utilizing ancient, tried-and-true Eastern medicine modalities, we strive to promote a holistic understanding and activation of natural, self-healing in order to gird your body against daily physical stressors and emotional demands.
Eastern medicine is a safe, natural way for you to live a fuller, healthier life by manipulating your body's energy, or Qi, via acupuncture and herbal remedies.
But acupuncture is merely one Eastern modality we incorporate into our treatments.
Cupping is a very popular and painless procedure used in addition, or as a substitute, to acupuncture. It involved creating a vacuum in a cup applied to the part of the body needing therapy. The vacuum gently draws the patient's skin to the cup which is then moved in a massaging fashion. Cupping instigates microcirculation and, like acupuncture, improves blood and Qi flow.
Some other modalities we incorporate into treatment are:
- Moxibustion - Warming therapy using dried Mugwort leaves
- Electro-Acupuncture - Using a safe, gentle, electrical current at the acupoint
- Acupressure - Also known as Tui Na, a massage technique to stimulate blood and Qi circulation
When your Qi isn't obstructed, your body works at a more efficient level. The various ailments we most commonly tend to are:
- Stress management
- Pain relief and orthopedics
- Diet and weight loss
- Fertility issues
