I was inspired to look into Pilates because of my early experience as a dancer and found through Pilates what strength, control, and flexibility really mean to me in terms of an individual body and its needs. I has taught me a great deal about the functioning of the body in context as a whole. One thing that really intrigues me about Pilates is the ability that it has to precisely sharpen skills while strengthening a wider range of motion. I was certified as a Pilates instructor at The Kane School in New York City.
