I took my Pilates certification course through Pilates Sports Center and also have some other certifications such as AFAA and ACE. I have been in the fitness industry for about 16 years as a group fitness instructor and after so many years of severe impact on my body, I realized I needed Pilates. I knew Pilates would be much more gentle on my body which inspired me to try it and as a result, I have become an instructor and love it very much. I feel as if Pilates works your body from the inside out. Becoming an instructor taught me that Pilates helps numerous aspects of the body. It helps to work your core, breathing, posture, form, balance, stamina, relaxation, and mind. I love to do Pilates every single day and will never get bored because there is an exceeding number of different exercises all the while being challenging and relaxing at the same time.
