About Tamie
As a young dancer I was inspired simply by a book on Pilates that had been given to me. As I began practicing mat work on my own, I realized that it was starting to strengthen and tone by body. I have suffered a back injury and it was not only being a trainer that healed me. It was also the fact that I was a continuous student, which healed me of all my lingering pain and enabled me to dance again. Pilates has also taught me that all exercise will be 100% more effective when initiated from a strong, stable core. After a pilates workout, my whole body feels the difference and it encourages a lot of energy towards my life. I love the spinal health I have gained through pilates as well as the longer, leaner muscles. I want to continue to instruct others so they may have the benefits that I have gained as well . I was certified through Power Pilates in Redmond, Washington.
